1. A check marked stop-payment, unless it
can be proven that the writer did not have sufficient funds to
cover the check or the writer refuses to return the product.
2. A two-party check such as a payroll check.
3. A check over 2 years old.
4. A check given in exchange for a returned check (always
demand cash, cashier's check or money order for payment)
5. A check not passed in McLennan County.
6. A check not presented to the bank within 30 days of
issuance.
7. A post dated check or if you agreed to "hold" the
check for any length of time.
8. Out of state or out of town checks. To
follow through on these checks, we have to depend on persons in the
other county to do our work for you.
